Ireland look to save 40 Million Euros by Energy Saving

OVER the next two days Energy Show at the Royal Dublin Society in Ireland is expected to generate 40million Euros worth of business for the 200 exhibitors present at this year's event.
Organisers are expecting around 5,000 professional visitors from the sustainable energy sector.
Opening the event was Ireland's Energy Minister Eamon Ryan who said the evidence of the green shoots of Ireland's recovery was in evidence at the show.
'Ireland has committed itself to ambitious targets in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency. It is evident today that Irish business has embraced this challenge and is exploiting the global opportunities in clean low-carbon energy solutions,' commented Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland Chief Executive Professor Owen Lewis said.
