Axminster meat processor installs energy-saving products from Enigin

In a bid to reduce energy wastage and cut down carbon emissions, Complete Meats of Axminster has put in place energy-saving measures with the help of Cornish company Enigin's energy-saving products and solutions.

The firm has adopted Enigin's EnergyMaps programme, which has seen a Chiller Unit Energy Saver (CUES) product installed into four of their large refrigerated store rooms at their processing factory.

As well as reducing the amount of energy the refrigeration units will use without compromising required temperatures, the CUES will help the firm save money, increase profit margins, protect jobs and save the environment.

Many businesses are increasingly recognising the fact that energy efficiency is not only vital for the future survival of their businesses but also the environment, commented Enigin's head of research and development Mark Sinden.

"From a business perspective savings on energy go straight to the bottom line, and that is what every business needs, particularly in the current difficult financial situation," he explained.

Enigin specialises in helping business owners, managers and staff identify precisely where energy is being wasted, which helps to save money.ADNFCR-2541-ID-19255020-ADNFCR
